This recipe of shrimp fried rice recipe is very easy and does not require prior experience in cooking. The taste is great when cooked with fresh shrimp instead of frozen shrimp.

It takes too long or works around the clock and you can't waste time cleaning shrimp, so keep using frozen without any harm. I cook many recipes with frozen shrimp but this time I used fresh shrimp.

I love eating outside but this is a lot of money for the less protein you'll get in the eating portion outside. There will be no 3 to 4 shrimp in one portion of fried rice, but when you cook at home, you will be able to add as much protein as you want.

This recipe is very customizable - add your choice of protein, and seafood you prefer - to taste the chicken, beef or squid, shellfish, and mussels you want to add.

Also add any of the vegetables in the refrigerator - use corn and frozen vegetables whatever you have, broccoli, cabbage, and hot pepper - just add whatever you like and they'll stay amazing.

How to make fried rice and shrimp - original:

First: Soak the rice for at least an hour, then cook it. Chill the rice before using it in this recipe.

Second: In a mixing bowl, mix all of the sauce ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, salt and white pepper powder with a bit of rice vinegar.

Third: In a bowl, add butter and saute shrimp seasoned with salt, black pepper powder and 1 teaspoon of the sauce mixture. Cook until the shrimp is soft and cook well. Keep it aside.

Fourth: In the same pan, add a little butter, add eggs, mix and set aside.

Fifth: In the pan, add sesame oil or vegetable oil + butter, add the vegetables, and stir until smooth, add rice, shrimp and eggs, mix the sauce and cook / cook over low heat until it is well cooked.

Butter is the most important ingredient in making fried rice in restaurant style. Butter is the ingredient that gives fried rice its flavor in the perfect outdoor menu platter.

What do we need to prepare a recipe for fried rice with shrimp:

Shrimp: Use the best shrimp you can get. Fresh is best but frozen is nothing less. Using frozen will save a lot on time and money as well. Fresh shrimp is very expensive and frozen is not that much. This is a recipe for small and medium sized shrimp.

Eggs: Scramble eggs over high heat for additional flavor in this fried rice.

Peas, carrots, or any of the vegetables you love: You have used frozen peas and chopped carrots. You can use any type of vegetable you want. Try adding thin slices of cabbage or green sweet pepper slices.

Rice: Try using jasmine rice or any rice that is well cooked. You can always try basmati rice too but don't overdo it.

Sauce Blend: The sauce mixture is the perfect key to fried rice. Fried rice may be chicken or egg-fried rice or any seafood fried rice, the sauce mixture is the key to getting the right fried rice. Here I mixed sesame oil, brown sugar, white pepper powder, vinegar, rice, oyster sauce and soy sauce.

Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe - Original Chinese

Ingredients

  • 4 cups, cooked rice (jasmine / basmati), chilled
  • 1 cup shrimp small / medium, clean, boiled (seasoned with sauce mixture 1 tsp + salt + quarter teaspoon of white pepper powder)

For the sauce mixture:

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • A quarter of a teaspoon of white pepper powder

For scrambled eggs:

  • 2 small eggs
  • As needed salt
  • A quarter of a teaspoon of white pepper powder
  • Half a teaspoon of rice vinegar

Additional:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil / sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup of frozen green peas and carrot
  • As needed salt
  • 1 green onion / green onion, chopped vegetables

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice at least 1 hour before cooking. Rice is cooked at night before fried rice is prepared and cooled.
  2. In a bowl mix ingredients to make sauce mix.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, salt, pepper powder, vinegar.
  4. Soak shrimp with salt, pepper powder and sauce mixture.
  5. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of butter, add shrimp and cook until pink and kitchen. Stay aside.
  6. In the same pan, add eggs and scramble to make small pieces.
  7. Stay aside.
  8. In the same skillet, add another spoonful of butter and vegetable oil / sesame oil, add ginger and garlic, then toss until fragrant.
  9. Add onions and vegetables and cook until tender.
  10. Add rice, shrimp and eggs and mix well. If the rice is cold and lumps due to cooling, gently separate the blocks without breaking the rice.
  11. Add the sauce mixture and mix well.
  12. At a high temperature, raise well until the rice is well done with the rest of the ingredients.
  13. Sprinkle some water over the rice, cover and cook for some time.
  14. Finally, add more oil if you need to, then add green onions to it. Serve!

Notes

* Use cold rice. It's best to cook rice the night before when you plan to cook fried rice. If the chilled rice hardens to form lumps, just gently break the rice lumps before using them in the recipe.
** Always cook vegetables on high heat in any business or any type of deep fryer will work, but make sure that you have applied the oil to it well or else the rice will stick to it.
*** To get the flavor of smoke in fried rice just like in restaurants, always throw the rice at a high temperature.
**** You must cook each component separately. Cook shrimps separately, eggs separately, vegetables separately and finally add them together.
***** You have to throw everything well, do not stir because it will mix and become soft.
