Shrimp Toast Classic Chinese Recipe

Shrimp Toast Classic Chinese - 1

Shrimp toast is the latest addition to the Chinese recipes. Spread a delicious mixture of crushed shrimp with green onions, coriander and ginger on slices of white sandwich bread, then put in the pan.

I will come under intense pressure to think of a clearer fusion of Chinese and American influences than this delicious appetizer. Mix a delicious mix of ground shrimp over bread and saute until crunchy - the perfect starters! This shrimp toast recipe makes 16 toasts - simply double or twice the recipe for large groups!

Before I started developing this recipe, I have never tried a shrimp toast. It was a discovery for me, and several cooking websites gave me a lot of guidance. The result was a legendary shrimp toast recipe.

My secret for this recipe:

Many chefs making shrimp toast cut the crusts off the bread, but I am against this. It is a waste of bread! I also find that the peel provides a good feature to hold the filling on the same bread. If you really want to cut the peel, just do it before spreading over the shrimp mixture, and eat it in a food processor to make bread crumbs. You can then store them in the refrigerator and withdraw them at any time you need to make meatballs, beef or any other dish in need of some types of bread crumbs.

These shrimp breads offer excellent party entrees with cocktails. Definitely an appetizer material for New Year's party. This recipe produces 16 small square toast, but you can double or double the recipe for a bigger party!

How to Make:

Add shrimp, coriander, green onion, ginger, sesame oil, sugar, salt, cornstarch and egg egg.

Mix the mixture until smooth.

Divide the mixture between 4 slices of sandwich bread, then distribute it evenly to the end.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds, and lightly press sesame seeds into the shrimp mixture.

Cut each slice into quadrants on a diagonal to create small triangles (or make them ideal as squares or small rectangles).

In a large nonstick or cast iron skillet, heat the oil until it glitters. Fry toast squares in the pan, shrimp side down first, until golden - about 2-3 minutes.

Use a spoon to carefully manage it, then fry the other side for 1 minute.
