The rice

  • Ten shrimps, medium size 
  • Three cloves of crushed garlic 
  • Tablespoon of olive oil 
  • Half a teaspoon of Italian spices 
  • Half a teaspoon of dried parsley 
  • Half a teaspoon of dried mint 
  • salt 
  • black pepper 


  1. Peel the shrimp, leave the tail, remove the back line, wash it well, then dry it. 
  2. Mix all the ingredients of the marinade in a small bowl. 
  3. Stir shrimp with spices well, cover and leave in the refrigerator for about half an hour. 
  4. After the shrimp absorbs the flavor of salt water, put it in wooden sticks. 
  5. I used this pan without applying any fatty materials. 
  6. Put it over medium heat and stir the shrimp on all sides until it becomes completely tender and changes color. 
  7. We put the rest of the pickle on the shrimp kernels while cooking, then put them on a plate and set them aside. 
  8. We cook the rice the usual way while reducing the salt because we will add salt and soy sauce while frying it with garlic. 
  9. Then fry the rice in this way: Chop 3 garlic cloves and leave the fourth clove for final decoration. 
  10. In a large skillet, over medium heat, place olive oil, smear the garlic slices, then bring them out with a side dish. 
  11. In the same pan, put the crushed garlic and butter and stir together until the garlic changes color, then add the rice. 
  12. Turn it together well, then add soy sauce and dried parsley. 
  13. Add a little salt and black pepper, stirring constantly. 
  14. Take the rice out of the heat and place the dish. 
  15. Finally, garnish with fried garlic slices and some parsley. 
  16. Serve garlic fried rice hot or warm with herb grilled shrimp.
