Shrimp Cocktail with Mayonnaise and Ketchup Recipe

  • 800 grams of raw shrimp (frozen or fresh), peeled and dirty
  • 3/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon. Red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon. Extra virgin olive oil (optional)
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce leaves, finely shredded


  1. Bring to a boil in a medium bowl, then add shredded and roasted shrimp. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the shrimp is light pink. Immediately take out the heat, drain, set aside until cool to the touch.
  2. Once shrimp is cooled, transfer to a medium bowl. Add the lettuce and remaining ingredients and mix until the shrimp and lettuce become well with the dressing.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve cold or at room temperature on a layer of fresh lettuce leaves, if desired.
  4. Store the rest of the meal in the refrigerator in an airtight container, it can hold the same fresh flavor for up to two days.
